FUELNG launches its Second LNG Bunker Vessel

news-details

The record orders of LNG-fuelled vessels globally require an expanded LNG bunkering infrastructure to service them. FueLNG, a venture between Keppel Offshore & Marine and Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd, a licensed LNG bunkering operator in Singapore, has the intention to make Singapore the global LNG Bunkering hub. Taking one more step to fulfill this dream, FueLNG is excited to announce the launching of its second LNG bunkering vessel on 16th November at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd., Korea. The Singapore-flagged bunker vessel with a carrying capacity of 18,000 Cubic meters would be the largest LNG bunkering vessel in South East Asia.

The new LNG bunker vessel would have Dual Fuel Engines, two stern azimuth thrusters and one bow thruster, a sub-cooler, and a custom-designed Bunker Boom with Vacuum Insulated Pipelines. The vessel would be under long-term time charter to FueLNG and would be owned by Korea Line LNG Co., LTD. The vessel is expected to be delivered in Q2 2023.
